This is a beautiful campground. Nice commissary, exchange, post office, church services. All on base. Only problem, gas station overhead is too low to accommodate motorhomes.

I stayed here just once and it was wonderful! This place is on the top of my list of places I would go back without a doubt. The only thing that this place could use is a playground, but then again this campground doesn't see a lot of active duty personnel with kids, mostly retired and traveling.

Great place but if you don't have a car only have one vehicle everything so spread apart on this base

Very nice park! The staff are super accommodating as are the camp hosts. The only downside is that there are ticks galore so if you have pets and/or take a walk on the trails, best to check yourself and pets. Reservations are highly recommended especially for snowbirds! You can get mail delivered at the on base post office and they are awesome folks. UPS & FEDEX delivery goes to campground office.

Sites were well maintained with some landscaping, even. It was off the beaten path with nice paths for long walks. Active community, busy community center. Clean laundry facilities at no charge. The staff without exception were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Main drawback for me was the BUGS. "Noseeums" is what the longtimers called them, and they bite! (Bitty gnats of some sort.) I was a bit disconcerted at first by the PA announcements every 15 minutes, but it was really novel, actually... like from a Tom Clancy novel! You'll have to visit there yourself to find out what the announcement is. Certainly worth a stay; lots of folks prefer it over many other base RV parks.
