Nice clean beach, absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. I am in agreement that the bathrooms need to be on a better cleaning schedule. Overall main beach is awesome.
Burger place is ok.... Not amazing but hits the spot after you are on the beach all day.
Skate park is in great shape. The basketball court is very nice.

Great beach for tourists or families with children. Big picnic area and close proximity to restaurants and hotels. The beach can be a little crowded during the summer, but there’s usually plenty of room for everybody. Has bathroom and rinse facilities and playground for the kiddies. Very close to the skate park too

Great state beach for families. 
No fees for parking, has a burger joint and sea food restaurant right in the parking grounds. 
Has a public restroom,  has showers on outside if the restrooms to wash off. Has playground area for kids that is in great condition. Life guards on duty,  clean sand area that is clean and maintained.  
Even has a rug carpet walkway to get to the sand. 
2 miles away historic downtown walking area with 3 hour free parking on the street, with great little shops, ice creamshops, boutiques and restaurants. 
Highly recommend and it's really nice crowd. ++++

Nice beach to hunt fossils in warmer months the water smells fishy so since it is August we stayed out of water i will not swim in stinky water for the smell says bacteria to me. Do not trust state to warn you either!! If water smells fishy don't chance a swim. I have seen sharks close to shore here. So look for those shark teeth!! I find cool things on this beach!

This is a great place with good parking and great gazebos for the family to cook out and they have a great ice cream / food store + miniature golf
