Just had timing belt done at Eastside European by Shane and his crew, and I love how passionate Shane the owner is when it comes to customer satisfaction. No BS guy like this is hard to come by these days, I will definitely be going back if I ever have any problem with my cars. Aside from the wonderful professionalism and a fountain of car knowledge not afraid to share, prices are lower than or at the same rate as any "random" car shops I called.

Recently had an oil change and general inspection done and received top-notch service and, most importantly, great communication. Inspection revealed a handful of suggested fixes and a few that were considered "urgent" (for example, a cracked drive belt), all conveyed clearly in a phone call ~4hrs after we dropped the car off. Work was finished by the end of the day (with a message to let us know it was done). Picked up next day, in and out in

Called in to get a quote for a timing belt on my VW 1.8t. Was priced lower compared to VW of Kirkland and was aligned with other independent shops, slightly lower price and had loaner cars available (that sealed the deal). I hadn't used this shop in a few years, past experiences had all been good and this one was no different. Shane is just an excellent guy to deal with. Very customer centric and honest. Transparent about the parts they use for the service and labor seems to be what is expected for the various jobs. They're an excellent deal for the service and quality of the work they do. I had made an appointment first thing in the AM, requesting loaner car be ready (since I had to head to work asap). I showed up, loaner car was all ready outside (very clean late model Jetta with low miles, was basically a new car) and the quote I was provided on the phone matched exactly what I was charged. Shane found a few other safety issues to address and he prioritized them from most urgent to can wait until later which made it easy for me to choose what to do now vs what could wait later on. Thanks for the overall excellent experience! You always get what you pay for, avoid the bottom dollar shops and give this honest shop your business! They know European cars like no other and will treat you with respect and honesty that is simply hard to find nowadays. I will definitely be going back for any future repairs/maintenance needed on my euro vehicles.

Took my BMW in for service and was blown away by the way Shane and his crew treated me. Very knowledgeable and took the time to explain and show me what exactly was done and why. Customer for life!

The older gent at the front desk was rude and more interrested in talking down to me than helping me. And while I was there 2 cars came in off tow trucks with very unhappy customers, which he also talked down to. This is not a place to take a fine automobile to for quality service. This is a at best a bottom shelf, tape and glue type of shop. But they will talk fast and pretend they have it all figured out. Save yourself the break down/return trip and spend a little extra and go to the dealership where there are trained professionals to service your auto. Shaun
