Place is amazing. Hard to believe that they have gathered so many delicious things into one place. We grabbed a sandwich and sat at the wine bar and it was as good as a lynch at a high end restaurant. Can be crowded, I think they are more popular than they planned for, but still service good and room to move around. Saw a jar of Italian sour cherries I need to go back for.

Love the location and it's open spaces compare to the one by Flatiron. If you're more for a market experience then go to the other one but you want a more relaxing experience then this is the place to go. It also offer great view from their cafe and restaurant. And of course, their staff is really helpful too. If you have to drive then go there after 7pm otherwise don't bother.

WONDERFUL PLACE if you love tourists ++ touristy things. In all honesty, though, it's a great place to go for fresh pasta and one of the only places I've found in NYC--which is crazy!!!--to get cherries for usage in my homemade Manhattans. Home that's the case, I do not know, but I tell you what--those cherries are good!

I would like to give this establishment no stars, but that is not possible. Went there on a Sunday evening with a friend. We ordered pizza - the first pie was undercooked and the thin crust was raw. We sent the pie back and they brought us another and this one was burnt. We did not even touch the pie and told the very sour faced bartender that we did not want the pie. He called over a manager who looked about 18. She informed us that this is the way they make them in Naples and the burnt pie was perfect. I did not ask her if the raw pie was also perfect. This is New York and we are accustomed to decent pizza. The downtown Eataly is a tourist trap - STAY AWAY. By the way I believe the Neapolitans would be insulted if they knew Eataly is calling their poor excuse for pizza a Neapolitan pie. Of course when one charges $20 for a pizza a fancy name is required.

Great craft beers. Liked the dogfish drink music. Great pizza. Great entrees. Little on expensive side. They have pastries and gelato also. 25 dollar per pound hams and meats, cheeses, anchovies, produce. Like that they have no sugar added pasta sauces , but they are $8 per jar.
