Really nice campsite and excellent staff. Four stars for a couple of reasons, but to be honest, only one really under their control. The tent campsites are the furthest from the bathroom and showers. The campsite is right next to a major road and is quite loud at even at the sites furthest from the road. Helicopter tour landing pad is across the street, which was loud but kids thought it was cool. On Saturday night the restaurant/bar across the street had a live band playing until midnight. I would stay here again but if your goal is quiet, you will probably not find it here.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The campgrounds are very clean showers and bathrooms are very nice. Have a laundry room also. Location is great 8 miles to canon city ( skyline drive is in between...certainly a must do) and the royal gorge bridge is only 5 .., the view is beautiful all around . Electric and water hookups and full plus cabins and shed w a bed ( i think is what they call them) . The price is not bad either.. Just knowing our belongings were safe while we cruzed around the area was well worth it. We ended up staying 3 nights since it was so relaxing. Highly recommend the whitewater rafting with echo canyon also. My other 1/2 hasn't quit talking about it. He had a blast. We definitely will be back and highly recommend you check it out also.

Though this camp sight might have nice staff and is beautiful, it is extremely hot. There is no shade to be found and it's almost 100° out side. Your either inside or dieing out side. The hills are fun for bicking though.

This is my first time give one star feedback to a campground because of the rude staff. We arrived on July 28. At second night a drone-hate staff (Amanda) came to talk to me very rude and unfriendly with her angry face and trying to threat me when I playing my drone. "You can't fly at everywhere unless you got authorization. It is the law! " Wow! What a rude staff (I guess she came from other States because there is no laws address to drone in Colorado and drones are managed by FAA, So maybe she was talking about her "law"). This is my first time visit this campground and I don't your policy (Also their policy paper doesn't mention about drone). I was shocked and i just told her I will fly back now because I don't want to speak to a unfriendly staff. If she talked to me friendly and tell me their policy instead of using "her law" threat me I will stop flying immediately and no any complaint. Please treat your customer friendly and don't bring your emotion to me. Avoid this campground If you travel with done, a drone-hate manager is terrible.

Really nice camp site with great amenities. Bathhouse was always clean and the area with the outdoor games (ladder ball and corn hole) was nicely kept. We had tent site 5 and had an amazing view of sunrise and of the Moon right next to our fire pit. No trash around the site and there was even a picnic table to use which was nice considering we did not bring an extra table. Also, if you don't want to rough it too hard they have free Wi-Fi at the site. Great experience at a great place
