Clear mountain lake with a peak in the water's reflection. Spent a day and a night. Fishing and camping in an idyllic setting. Make sure to reserve ahead of time.

The campsite hosts were very uppity and rude. My husband found 3 sites for our 5th wheel that were open and not reserved. The hosts initially pointed to the sites, then discovered we had a dog and tried to tell me the campground was full. The wife looked at our camper as if it were a trash truck, pinchfaced. I refused to give up so they allowed us to park in a space they had blocked off, #1. It was in full sun and 90 degrees. As I was completing the registration, more people pulled in and the host husband asked if they had dogs or kids and they replied no. So the host pointed to one of the sites my husband wanted and told them they could have that one. The park had water but the hosts keep it turned off so you have to get their permission to get water. Until those hosts are gone, we won't go back.

Beautiful small lake, very clean & quiet ! The road up to it could use a bit of smoothing but made for interesting ride lol be sure your brakes are in good condition and you use low gear coming back down the hill ! Would like to see a few larger tent sites to accomodate really large tents and maybe a few dispersed areas closer to the lake. The price for overnite camping is $20 per site and all day visits are $6. Well behaved pets are welcomed as long as they are leashed and you clean up after them ( dont forget those plastic grocery bags for poop patrol lol). Grocery store is only about 6 miles away. They do have fire rings, and restrooms.
