Contractor did a decent job at first. Worked well with me after a house fire.
During the rebuild, I paid out of pocket for a number of things that insurance was to cover (refrigerator, oven, etc). To an extent they covered it, but a number of items were not reimbursed to me (insurance paid them directly) 
There were a number of issues from the workers damaging my property, such as damaging my backyard patio blocks from their bobcat, damaging some patio furniture. And finally, shotty work on my porch where where water collects in front of the door (basically a large ice sheet all winter, really unsafe, not sloped right. Concrete already cracking and spalling).
They seemed to try to work with me at first to resolve everything, spoke with the owner who said this wouldn't be a problem. Then I kept trying to arrange to resolve everything and they stopped returning phone calls, did not respond, etc. Shady business practices, don't honor their 'warranty' it seems. I would avoid this business for any project.

I've been dealing with this company for over a week and will tell you definitely don't count on them to follow through with much. I've been trying to get a quote on remediation of mold in the attic of a home I am in the process of purchasing.  When we talk on the phone they seem excited to help.  There were red flags in the beginning when they failed to actually go to the house to inspect it as they had promised. Every day since then I have been promised the quote will be there the next day only to be left waiting each time.  Today is the deadline for me to submit something in writing to the sellers (9 days from my first discussion with them to evaluate the mold and get a quote) and still no quote.  There are some other good companies in the area that can do the same thing as these guys and I would highly recommend trying them first.  Don't let these guys screw up your home purchase too.

These guys are a bunch of opportunistic vultures.  They charged me $650 to have a plumber from a separate company come spend just under an hour to unthaw a frozen sewer line.  Never even provided an estimate ahead of time.  All they do is contract suppliers that you could go find yourself and tack their own fee on top of that.  They get away with this because they typically bill insurance companies who obviously have deep pockets.  Unless you are working with an insurance company, steer clear of these guys.

ECI originally came out to perform some remediation work following water damage from a leaky toilet.  Our insurance company hired them; apparently they were on the insurance company's list of preferred vendors for emergency work.  We then tried to hire them to perform the restoration work--drywall repair and painting.  Despite repeated phone calls, messages, and following a conversation with an actual person promising a call from the "scheduler" which we never received, we never heard from them again.  Very unprofessional.  I have let the insurance company know ECI has terrible customer service and should in no way be on its list of "preferred" vendors.

AMAZING SERVICE. Extremely helpful staff. They called me right away, answered all of my questions and the final project made me feel like the fire never happened.
