Great park, has camping, bathroom and bathing facilities, picnic facilities, and access to an beautiful and quiet beach. Walk about mile down the beach during low tide for some amazing shelling. There is a fee to enter and park on site. Check website as some of the amenities are closed due to damage from Hurricane Matthew as of this posting.

The park itself is beautiful and there were very kind staff at the campground. Bath houses were in good working order. I would give more than 4 stars if there was anything nearby. Seriously there should at least be a laundromat or dollar store closer than an hours drive. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the gorgeous park. Next time we will rent a condo or house so we have access to laundry.

This is a great state park - the beach!! The beach is great, there's a ton of shells on the beach so if you love shells check it out.

Loved the environmental learning center.. Very informative. The beach campground was closed due to Hurricane Mathew. Stayed at Oak View campground. 4g with 3 bars for good wifi hotspot.

We love our state parks. Edisto is one of the most popular. It is a great place. The only issue really is its popularity. It gets full during peak season. they need to update their information about canoeing. Signs still show there is a canoe put in that was never built.
