Some of the dishes were good, cebiche was really good but Anticucho was dry and hard; it came fast even though we came at a busy time. Service was poor, only 2 ladies, and took long.

I love this restaurant. The Pollo a la Braza and Lomo Saltado are my favorite dishes. The service is great.

This place is good overall. I like the traditional style and food. I think it’s a bit pricey for what it is though. I used to order “bistek a lo pobre” and each time I’d order it, the portions would get smaller. This last time I went, I had the Tarallin with bistek. It’s basically yellow spaghetti with steak and one fried potato split in half. It was really good but I don’t think the price was right. The steak was thin and a bit chewy and there was tons of spaghetti. The food is good but it’s too pricey now.

I keep coming back, the food is good and the service is polite and courteous. I  order the Anticuchos every time.

For what it is, El Rocoto is simply decent. I’ve only ever ordered the pollo a la brasa (Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken) because it’s the only food item true to the diverse flavors of Peru. Other than the mostly unauthentic menu, the restaurant itself is clean and embraces Latino culture.
