I have had a fabulous experience here with my family. We had amazing food served quickly and nicely. The man made guacamole right in front of us so it was fresh and a pleasure to watch. The drinks were great, staff very friendly, and a very nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place and would most definitely go here again if I was in Washington D.C. The food is also very good value for what they bring. So much food for a cheap price! Kids menu is also great! Another wonderfully fabulous thing is the adult menu, which is very large with a massive variety of things to choose from. The most I've ever had to choose from at a Mexican restaurant.

A very comfortable warm and cozy place, great for groups, lunch dates, coffee and other libations, if you choose. The food is Latino and deliciously inviting. The lunch specials are large and filling. The dinner menu has something for everyone even vegans. For the happy hour crowd, there is a happy hour special every day.  It is one and a half blocks from the Columbia station metro. Great place to celebrate everything. In the summer through fall, one can be seated at table outside, sip, dine and people watch the day and evening away! Or go shopping across the street one block up. There is a parking garage there also.

The food is actually pretty good. The chicken in the chicken fajitas lacked flavor but everything tasted fresh. The main reason I am giving 3 stars is because of poor service. The waitresses often do not understand what you are asking for and can come off rude. Not once was I asked if we needed anything or get refills on my water.

I went here for happy hour with a few friends. The food and drinks were both good, and it was pretty empty. Service was quick and responsive, but not overbearing. The happy hour prices and selections could be better, and I wish the happy hour menu was available at a table, but overall I had a good experience.

So over this restaurant..i have been to this space several times. I have received good service once when i was with my Spanish boyfriend. I am not sure what the problem is if it is race or a language barrier but today really upset me. The server was trash and no true service. Busser and food runner gave no eye contact not one smile. I hate this type of service. I will never return nor recommend them to anyone who comes to my bar looking for a restaurant with a bar in it.
