Story

Since 1953, EFCU has exclusively served the financial needs of various Denver area labor unions and their families with the only unionized office staff of any financial institution in the state of Colorado. This is what sets us apart from all the other financial institutions and we will continue our commitment to labor unions and their families well into the future.

We participate in Shared Branching as well as the CO-OP Network of ATM's which means our members have access to over 5,000 branch locations and over 30,000 surcharge free ATM's nationwide.

Membership criteria for joining EFCU requires that you are a part of the following Denver area labor unions or organizations which includes, but is not limited to: IBEW Local 68, IBEW Local 111, IBEW Local 708, Plumbers Local 3, UFCW Local 7, Pipefitters Local 208, IAM Local 1886, CWA 7777, SEIU Local 105, OPEIU Local 5, AFSCME Colorado, IBB Local 28, ATU Local 1001, IW Local 24, The Denver Area Labor Federation, and the Colorado AFL-CIO. Family members of current EFCU members are also eligible to apply.
