New job across the street, while staring out the office window of the second floor on a rainy friday, I noticed the place. Curiosity got the best of me. So I went to check the place out. It was cozy. Service was attentive. And the food was awesome! (I ordered the shrimp fried rice lunch special that came with simple hot soup and salad). I had a really nice experience.

This place is a joke. I urge to not go. I have lived in Encino for 40 years. They were already busted by Food commission for serving tainted meats. We went over to pick up food and the guy taking orders said there is no manager on the premises and there is one cook. The manager does not come in anymore. They also spit in my food and we reported them for that 2 months ago. Please I urge do not eat here. You will get sick or you have a terrible experience. Most of the reviews on here are fake reviews that they purchased. PLEASE STAY AWAY!! I BEG YOU

I went there last week. It took 1 hour after I ordered. Then the server told me there was literally no food being cooked because there was only one cook. When I asked for the manager, she came to the table and yelled at me for being upset. I then I got my food and it was the wrong order 1 hour 20 minutes later. Here is the kicker, There was a fly in my TOM KA!> I will never visit this disgusting roach infested place

I went here over the weekend. It was the worst experiences I have ever had in my life. I became violently ill after I left. I went to Encino hospital and was told that I had food poisoning. The doctor told me I ate rotten meat. I have reported this restaurant. I am telling everyone in ENCINO TO NOT GO THERE> NO MORE ELEPHANT HUT!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent Thai Food but my favorite is Amarin Thai in Warren, MI. Excellent nonetheless.
