Chose this place for my wedding venue: it was gorgeous and unforgettable. The museum is well done, the ship itself in great shape. It is a must-see for history buffs and nautical lovers stopping over in Galveston.

Small but extremely enjoyable museum, especially the ship portion. The ship is small so very tall people might find it a bit of a squeeze as they look around below deck, but the historical experience is a delight for adults and kids alike. This makes for a relaxing and interesting morning for vacationers or residents.

It is rare to find a working phone of history. We loved seeing a ship from the end of the sail era. The accompanying museum places such boats in the context of Texas history. There arei soft drinks and candy available if your children get hungry.

Super awesome historical site that is great for all ages. Would suggest everyone make this a stop on their tour of historic Galveston. Our particular visit was to watch a free movie at sunset being played on the main sail which made for such a fantastic evening.

I liked the museum store. The ship was very pretty and I enjoyed it. It didn't take long to see the ship and museum and I liked that a lot.
