Got great service... all my questions answered honestly and completely. Mechanics were quick and not messy. I was treated like an old friend. I felt I could ask any question about my car and its service - no matter how silly - and it would be answered with honesty and respect. I like that.

Elmer Sweetwood and Sons took really good care of me and my 1996 Ford Bronco. Sam along with the other knowledgeable and experienced mechanics worked diligently on my car to get it running well again. Thanks to these guys my Bronco runs like a champ even better than before. I highly recommend this auto repair shop for anyone who wants to repair there car in a timely fashion and great price. Thanks again Sweetwood!

How can you go wrong with a business named Elmer Sweetwood and Sons.   Old School.  Honesty and integrity.   Been taking my Ford Ranger there for service for a few years.  I have been very satisfied with the customer service and the quality of work.   Highly recommend Elmer Sweetwood for your automotive and truck needs.

Went in for a simple oil change- with their coupon. Because they didn't have the oil & filter, that was suggested by the manufacturer ,I brought my own.  When checking out I noticed they charged me almost double-- when I asked why it was more, when I brought in both the oil and the oil filter --they told me it cost them more. I asked for management & a very large gentleman with a beard came out and  told me it really it cost them more if I bring in my own oil and  filter -- he said it cost them double??   I couldn't believe what I was hearing. With a coupon that stated it supplied both oil & filter-- how could that make any kind of sense!! 
If you go to Elmer Sweetwood & Son in El Cajon good luck .....you'll need it.

I have used this shop for a number of years. Very personable and reputable staff, also reasonably priced and efficient every time I've gone in for service. I don't know of any car repair service that they cannot do.
