Though Kevin Collins was a bit unkind in his assessment, he is correct about one thing : there does seem to be at least a few kids screaming every time I come in here. The librarians really need to start making parents remove their kids from the library when that happens. Same with cell phone conversations. It's just rude.

Limited book selection -- check. Scummy homeless people stinking the place up and blaring music through their earbuds on the Internet computers -- check. Screaming and yelling by young children whose do-nothing mothers do absolutely nothing about it -- check. Loud cell phone conversations -- check. Need you know more?

Mostly happy with Denton public libraries but I wish they would do a better job managing their digital presence. I get notices when a book is due (which is great) but no notice when my card is about to expire. Instead I had to find out because my kindle locked me out of my library account until I renew.

Underwhelmed. Thankful for Stacey's warm friendliness and a very nice 25yr old man. BUT....others were cold, gruff and gave poor service. Very limited fiction selection (It's small so, that's fine.) I do mind apathy, poor communication and pettiness. I'm from a library that is extremely friendly so I'm spoiled by that. I think caring is number one for any business whether public or private. Denton is one of America's friendliest cities. The library was not, or at least not a few individuals.
