Watch your back! My daughter and I were going to this library for years. Never had any issues, until lately. We checked out a kids book that was already damaged, book was readable but some pages were taped with a clear tape. We didn't not know it until the time came for us to read the book. Normally , when checking books out we scan a barcode and put a book in the bag. We trusted the library and didn't check every page of the book for damages.At the time, I didn't think much of it since the book was already not in new condition when we checked it out,; however, upon returning the book the South branch library accused us of damaging it., They charged us for the book twice the actual cost.. I tried talking to the branch manager , but he refused to believe me and my 7 year old daughter. I brought a new book to replace the damaged book, but library branch refused to take it. Is this a scam they are running to make money?

The people there are so nice. I go there for fun and just look around. I always find something that interests me every time I go.

I've been going to this library for about 6 months now. It is a nice, quiet place to browse and read. They also have a good sized computer section. They continually refresh their selection with new books. The checkout is painless whether you use one of the checkout kiosks or go the old fashioned route and talk to an actual librarian. The online services for ebooks, audiobooks, and movies is the best I've ever used - I have been able to find every single audiobook I was looking for, no matter how rare!

I love the summer reading program it's a great way for people to keep reading over the summer

I've been going here consistently pretty much since I could read and I love it. It's a great environment, the librarians are really helpful and patient, and it's an overall nice place.
