Really amazing site, particular rocks and landscape. Allows camping and BBQ, if you are interested. Good for families, there is a 6.25 miles loop with panoramic views, but you can also - at your own risk - leave the path and go climbing finding your own way. Nice and relaxing view from the top. This place has something mystical. Check I advance if you plan to visit it as the entrance is allowed this they get the maximum number of visitors allowed, then they close, so better getting there early! Clean toilets, and his security all around the area.

Amazing hike to the summit. I’ve seen all skill levels do it. From young to old. Just make sure you are taking your time, take breaks, drink plenty of water and if you need help, have a spotter. This is not a difficult hike, but it is steep. The views at the top and the sense of accomplishment are worth it. Shoes with good grip are highly recommended.

Beautiful destination. My favorite Texas state park so far. The rocks and views are very impressive. Unique mini ecosystems up and down the rocks. Trails are well maintained. The trail to the top is short , but a little strenuous. Easy loop trail around the base.

I haven't been to many state parks yet but this one is the best I've been to by far. The incline up to the summit sure does know how to work your calves and if you don't stay hydrated you're going to be sore! The views at the top are worth the effort though. Make sure to hole down the backside and explore the tunnels that have been formed by fallen boulders!

Beautiful park. Has new rules banning dogs from the summit. They are now only allowed on the loop trail. Be careful. They WILL fine you if you take your dogs off the trail. But even just walking the loop trail is still a lovely time.
