Take a guided tour of Washington, D.C., from Fredericksburg, or ride the Metro or VRE to within walking distance of D.C.'s major attractions. Civil War buffs have a field day near this quiet countryside spot in the woods. Four of the war's most significant historic battles were fought here. Awesome place to stay. We arrived late and the manager on site came over and checked us in despite it being after hours. He was very nice and accommodating and let us chose the more private site! Bathrooms were spotless and the showers got SUPER hot. I would highly recommend this KOA.

This place is a damn joke!!! No exaggeration!!! WOW how do you run a business like this?! These sites need cleaning up and STUMPS REMOVED! Wow!! We were really crammed into our site. Old picnic table that was splintered and really should be used for firewood We arrived around 4:30pm on a Friday. Over by the pond were several sites that looked like they started their drinking on Monday! Loud & I mean LOUD! Their music was so loud it was like it was being blasted through a PA system. I love music but to have no regard for any body else wow! The Owners did nothing and really showed they could care less! Fishing was a JOKE Fishing ... well the pond is quite low so that was a NO! Showers were hot but needed a really good cleaning. So here it is now 1:45 am !!!!!!!! The Campground was so loud The party has traveled all over since 7:00 pm tonight. Dogs barking at several sites all night due to approximately a dozen sites are still on a drunk and don't care that their voices, laughter & EXTREMELY LOUD FOUL MOUTHS CARRY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CAMPGROUND I felt like gathering up our RV AND LEAVING! We paid $60.00 for a pull through to relax and get sleep to travel. We have had the party goers walking through our site yelling for others in their party. This in turn alarmed our dogs that were upset and wanted to then bark and protect ALL NIGHT! Trains are frequent and lay on their horns every time so I'm guessing a main crossing is quite close. The office literally did NOTHING! The Girl in the office said well what do ya do.. REALLY ! NEVER WOULD STAY HERE EVER AGAIN YOU HAVE ZERO RESPECT FOR ANYONE! This was a solid night from HELL !!!!!!! The dog park was covered in poop from very old to new .... Won't take my dogs to a filthy park!!! Disease spreads like this!!!!

We live local. When we first started camping, we did take a ride through this KOA. At that time it was not very appealing, but we went there a few years ago and they have really brought the campground to life! We camp here almost on a regular basis, the restrooms and showers are immaculate! The staff is wonderful!!! When they remember your daughters name? Impressive. Always available for any question or service they can offer without hesitation nor act as if you are a bother. Yes cell service is questionable at times, but that is not the fault of KOA, WiFi can go on and off line, and that would depend on the number of users at one time. I find that at any campground I have stayed. Most of the time you will have camping neighbors for one night, due to the close proximity to the interstate.We love our little home away from home and would highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. They even turned the AC on before I checked in so it was nice and cool inside. Well stocked store offered everything we had forgotten at home and the pool was great! We look forward to staying again.

I had to cancel a reservation bc I was traveling for work and I screwed up the dates. They told me I could get that night back if I stayed at their campground again. Just called to make the reservation and the manager said, "I can't go back and change a transaction and the owner is out of town for the rest of the month." If your looking for customer service this is not the campground to stay at.....even as a KOA member the manager on site would not help me...I'm a small business owner and would never allow a customer to be treated this way. KOAs in general have not been what I thought they would be...they were also not sold out when I cancelled....feel like they kinda stole my money.
