To anyone using this rental company, Please do not use their "pick-up" services unless you absolutely absolutely need it. I scheduled a rental for Thursday and called on Wednesday afternoon to ask if I could get picked-up. The guy on the line told me that even though I had reserved a car for 2pm on Thursday, there were no cars available. So first of all, if I hadn't called, would I have showed up to the car to FIND NO AVAILABLE CARS? It was a first red flag that made me second-guess my decision to use Enterprise. Nevertheless, the guy scheduled a pick-up for 5:30pm on Thursday, even though it was half an hour before their office closes (so just there it was cutting it way too close). But regardless, he assured me that I would get picked up at 5:30pm and that the pick-up driver would call me when he was at my place. Friday comes around and I call again at 5:00pm, just to do my due diligence and ensure that I will get picked up at 5:30. Again, I was told that I would get picked up at 5:30pm and that the pick-up driver would call me when he was at my place. So 5:30pm comes around and there is no sign of the driver. I wait for a few minutes but understanding that the office closes at 6:00pm, I call again to check on the status of my driver. This time, I am told that the driver is on the way and that she will call me once she is at my place. Now it is 5:45pm but there is still no driver. I call the office one more time and I am told that the driver is still on the way. I am extremely frustrated at this point and moreover, I am panicking now because the office closes at 6:00pm! At 5:50pm, finding no signs of the driver, I call again and I am told that the driver just came to my location but "left because she didn't see me". I ask, how that could be, since I WAS TOLD REPEATEDLY that the driver would call me when she was at my place. To put things into perspective, it was freezing cold and snowing outside on that day so of course I was not standing outside my house. BUT I WOULD HAVE GLADLY STOOD OUTSIDE IF I WAS TOLD THAT BEFOREHAND. The driver finally comes by at 5:55pm, literally 5 minutes before the office closes, does not apologize for the lateness or for the fact that she came and left beforehand and simply says that she didn't know she had to call me. So either this office's communication sucks or this is normal and they are just used to doing things this way. Either way, I am going to ensure that I never use their pick-up services unless I absolutely need it. If you are in the State College area, please use HERTZ instead. They have all new cars, much better service and they email you if they do not have a car available, so you know in advance if you are on a wait list!

Two stars because the problems are with Enterprise the company, not the associates that work at this location. The company deserves one star, if that. Things to be aware of: They may not have the vehicle you requested online. The prices online are cheaper than those provided on-site. Filling out the driver information online isn't necessarily going to save you time (I had to provide it two more times at the counter). You must have a NON-DEBIT CREDIT CARD to pay for the rental. Otherwise, you have to have a bill with your name and address from within the last 30 days--something not explicitly mentioned if you make your reservation online. The employee who helped me was understanding and helpful, but even he admitted the policies and paperwork were ridiculous and overwhelming. Other companies are less of a hassle in my experience--of all the major car rental companies, Enterprise ranks last.

Had a car for 47 days while mine was in the shop. Nice service. Got a car with a missing back seat belt. They switched me out a few days before Xmas. Helpful. A little angry at the daily insure fee that isn't explained well. (you're still covered on you're own insurance, plus deductible)

I have never had a problem, I am always in and out on my way in no time at all. They have a great selection of cars to chose from also. I will use this location as long as I can. Happy Customer 🤗

It pains me to leave a negative review for a company that I have used for years but after multiple failed attempts to escalate this issue internally with Enterprise I am left with this as my only option. On Wednesday November 14, 2017 I returned my Enterprise rental to the body shop where my car was being repaired. The State College Enterprise office was contacted to pick up the rental (one block away) and they reassured me they would pick it up later that day. I received a call from the body shop the next day (Thursday) letting me know the car was still in their lot and that they would call Enterprise to get the vehicle. The following Saturday (November, 18) I saw the rental was STILL at the body shop lot so I personally drove the car to the State College Enterprise and when I notified the Branch Rental Manager he became very aggressive in his approach with me. After leaving the location they continued the aggressive approach with a call threatening to have the vehicle towed. I called the corporate office to report the incident (November, 18) and was told a Regional representative would call me back. As of today (November 29) I have heard nothing, so I attempted to escalate it internally again and they followed the same process of entering it into a "call back" system for the Regional team, with no clear commitment of WHEN I would receive a call back. In addition to all this I received a statement from my Insurance Company showing that they paid off the rental bill that included charges for the 5 days the car sat waiting for the Enterprise office to pick it up. My hope was to have this resolved internally with Enterprise by (1) addressing the Branch Rental Manager issue (2) Crediting my Insurance company for the days the car sat in a parking lot waiting for Enterprise to pick it up. Now, because no one will or acknowledge my problem, I am leaving a public review and will have to contact Progressive to let them know everything as well. It seems that Enterprise is failing to put good leadership in this region and I hope this feedback alerts the proper people internally to take action so another loyal customer is not lost.
