Would highly recommend not falling for what seems to be cheaper prices I went through a week and a half of hassles and probably 25 phone calls where nobody could understand anything I was saying and they kept changing my pickup locations and separate locations for truck and car dolly it was a complete nightmare would never ever ever do business with budget ever again and after dropping the truck and trailer off at my destination even the people that work for budget at the service center said that they knew the budget was becoming very horrible. I had always used U-Haul but thought I would give budget a try and boil boy that was a mistake Plus I took the cheapest insurance and ended up getting charged the most without my knowledge which took away from any of the deal that I was supposed to get.

Never again..never seen our refund. Told 3-5 business days..6 days later..no refund..called,was no help,told to talk to our bank. So quick to take money, but good luck receiving it back. The staff will give the run around..Enterprise gave ours the next day with no problem, clean cars

Not impressed with presonnel. They were more concerned about sitting in front of their heaters and being on their phones than talking with me. I did get my question answered but it was not in a professional manner.

This isn't a review as much as it is a plea to stay away from this Budget car rental.  If our experience can save at least 1 person, this review will served it's purpose.  My hope is no one has to go through what my wife and I did.

We were going away for Thanksgiving and wanted to make sure that we had a car rented for the trip.  So a few months in advance we rented from this Budget car rental.  We were to pick up the car at Budget the day before Thanksgiving.  We arrived and the two ladies there were both miserable.  You could just tell they hated their job, but none the less, I was plesant and tried to make conversation.  They started to check me in.  She told me the car I was getting, then told me they were going to raise the rate by close to $100!  I said, there must be some msitake, I reserved thi months ago at a much lower rate.  The woman, said I was an hour late for pickup, so they cancelled my reservation.  First, we never realized we had a specific time to pick it up.  Secondly, they never even attempted to contact us to see if we still wanted the car.  They said they didn't have my contact information, which was a lie, as I have rented from them before (also a bad experience).  I always try to give people a second chance, mistake was on me.  I was very confused and asked to speak to their manager, when they both informed me they were managers.  Yikes!  The sad thing, is that since, they were so unplesant, they had absolutely no remorse or empathy in their entire body.  It was almost a smirk of, we got you and you know it.  Well I was not about to let them win this injustice.  So I called Budget customer care. They were horrified to hear what had happened and appologized profusely.  They promptly gave me back the rate I was promised, but by this time, I didn't want to deal with these heartless "managers" and I defintely didn't want to support their company.  Byt this time, it was plain to see, they were price gauging due to the holiday.  And felt if I wasn't willing to pay the extra, someone else would.  So I simply asked to pick it up from a different Budget.  They looked, but all the other Budgets were sold out of the vehicle's we wanted.  So I was stuck either renting form them or going with another company.  I made the frist rash decision all day, by deciding to go with Enterprise.  The customer care rep, really didn't want to lose teh business, and even asked to give ti to me lower than I originall rented it for if I would stick with this location.  A fr cry, from the girls, who had every intention to extort extra money from their customers.  To make a long story short, Enterprise, ended up being cheaper, had much nicer cars (they even let me pick out the car I wanted to rent - Brand New Jeep Cherokee Limited edition!) their service was night and day difference.  It is safe to say that I will never be using this Budget again.  In fact, this experience has made me decide against Budget and Avis in the future.  Good job "managers" you have successfully managed to lose a loyal customer for life.  

P.S. If you can't tell 1 star is much higher than they deserve.

DON'T USE BUDGET EVER AGAIN! I would give this location 0 stars if possible. Absolutely RUINED our vacation. After giving us a new car with a terrible FLUID leak, ruining our driveway, they try to send us a replacement car that was TOO SMALL for our trip at 1:00 am in the morning. We called to say this wouldn't work, too bad, they aren't open and had no other vehicles? 24 assistance is garbage. Ruined our trip as we had to get another vehicle after they towed away their vehicle from our house and did not replace it as the contract stated. Replacing the vehicle with something smaller than what we needed was NOT acceptable. Oh it sat 8 but had no room for luggage????? Went with Enterprise and would ALWAYS AGAIN. Better car, better service, higher price is worth it.  We learned our lesson luckily before being stuck down south in their broken vehicle. Even the TOW-TRUCK said be careful they will replace it with a smaller vehicle.
