There are two Enterprise locations in San Rafael -- choose the other one (located at 536 Irwin St), there is a day-and-night difference between the two.  At this location, I scheduled a pickup for 9AM the night before.  As of 10 AM, they hadn't shown up.  When I called to complain, I was informed that the pickup was a "courtesy" - which seemed to imply that I should just be happy with whatever service they were "good" enough to provide.  Further, I asked for a full-sized pickup; a mid-sized was reserved for me.  They acted as though they were doing me a favor.  So, I called the Irwin St location and they picked me up within 10 minutes of my call and provided the correct vehicle.

I've always had very good service renting from Enterprise, anywhere!  A great company; the San Rafael Medway office is always stellar!  (Good service, good rental vehicles, and an overall customer care Team that is excellent)
Current Managers along with their support staff, are consciencious, well-trained, and eager to do a very good job for you!  
(AND Pick up and Drop off IS still a free service to Enterprise renters)
I'm puzzled at some negative Google Map reviews, for they are a far cry from the nice service I've always experienced in my many years of renting from Enterprise.  
The company is growing, and I hope that this "good team spirit" will continue - with increasingly good benefits and compensation to those employees who make Enterprise the great company that it is!

They deal with a conplex car accident! I got a traffic accident and the car was dead but I didn't have to pay for extra money thanks to all insurance. I really appreciate their job and they did super great job.

Employees were very nice and helpful. Lack of 5 stars due to an unfortunate corporate policy encountered in the car rental process. If you are renting a car from out of state here, you need a credit card or a debit card WITH proof of a return trip home. I do not have a credit card, and I was flying standby on the way home, so I did not have proof of a return trip home either. I had plenty of money to cover the rental and then some, but they will not release the car without one of the two above conditions being satisfied. Ended up working it out in the end, but wasted some of my time and my brother-in-laws time in the process.

Worst rental location ever. I've used enterprise many times in the past, but I never will again. Staff was  Completely inconsiderate. Refused to give me my rental car. After I'd called them multiple times to confirm the pick up. The manager flat out lied to me multiple times. A Staff member even threatened me because I refused to leave without my vehicle. I arrived at closing with a reservation and staff refused to serve me after I had previously spoke to them on the phone while in transit to the location.
