This spot is so convenient because I live nearby, and their customer service is always excellent!! I'd have to say, it's always safe to get some kind of insurance when renting a car. You can go with the basic of full, but I usually go with the basic insurance for any car since I do have my own liability insurance already. I rented a car a couple of weeks ago, and thank goodness, the basic insurance that covers the car only, saved me. I was at an event all day, and the car was parked the entire day. Somehow, there was a crack in the windshield. Luckily, insurance covered it, and when I dropped off the car, it was a breeze. I paid around $24 for the insurance vs. paying $200 to cover a new windshield. Just simple things you should know when renting a car. Love this location!! Thanks for your excellent service guys.

Overall it was very good. Fast and friendly.  The only reason I didn't provide 4 or even 5 stars is because the car was given to me with only 1/4 of a tank of gas.  It was a hybrid, and the rep indicated it would get me to my destination with no problem (Sacramento to San Jose).  However, never having driven a hybrid, I did not feel comfortable driving with so little gas.  So I had to stop and get gas.  Also, I had to return the car with only 1/4 of a tank!  Do you know how difficult it is to gauge putting in only 1/4 of a tank on a car?!  So that was not good at all.  Even though it's a hybrid, the car should have been filled up so the customer doesn't have to fill up at the beginning of the trip and be interrupted and preoccupied.

Great service and very nice people!  I was in and out of there with a nice little Nissan Rogue in about 15 minutes for my 4 day rental.  Returning the car was just a quick and painless.

My only complaint is the perfumey scent in the car was so strong that I had to drive with the windows down for the first two days.   Luckily it wasn't raining....  Although as strong the smell was I probably would've let the windows down even if it were raining...

Had to wait ten minutes for the car.  Not a big hassle.  It was a Nissan Something pickup truck, not what I asked for nor a vehicle I would ever choose.  But not a big hassle.  The tank was only half full, but the nice young man waived the refill requirement.  So that ended up a positive.  It was a brand new Nissan Something.  That was nice.  But the remote lock clicker didn't work.  Minor annoyance.  The price was good, especially for a one-way.  I dropped the car off wicked early, and the receipt was waiting for me the next time I turned on my computer.  All in all a perfectly OK car rental experience.

Had a great experience at the 16th Street Enterprise Rent-a-Car location this morning. Worked with Tyler Ulrich who'd been working at that location for about three months. When he discovered that one of the passengers in my group was 6'7", he took it upon himself to find a vehicle better suited to someone that tall. When informed of the upgrade, my friend and I looked at each other and back at Tyler with smiles on our faces. If this is the level of service that Enterprise offers to all their customers, no wonder they're doing so much business at that location. When we arrived there, a little before 7:30 A.M., there was a line of 6 customers outside their door. They opened the doors a few minutes early and Enterprise had enough staff on hand to handle all of the customers in just a few minutes. I watched this all go down from the side and was quite impressed. I didn't price check Enterprise against the competition, but I can tell you from my personal experience, they treated us the way we all dream of being treated. Go Enterprise on 16th Street and thanks Tyler.
