It irritates me to no end that on the website you are told one price,  then you go in and they charge all kinds of fees that are not on the website pricing. While I do realize there may be other fees as stated, I feel 20 dollars a day extra for their insurance plan is not a fee, it is a product charge.  I just read through all of their  polices ect. and apparently those plans they make you buy if you don't have full coverage insurance are optional according to Enterprise in said policy descriptions. That seems a little sneaky to me, making you buy something that is not required. Beyond that an extra 80 dollars for insurance on a 4 day rental is excessive. If you are gonna charge for it let us know the price in full when they give you the totals so there are no surprises. It makes a difference for some people and their ability to afford said car. Which is not the companies problem, but it seem like good customer service to give people a heads up before hand not when they are in office and have to be somewhere.That way people have time to make alternate arrangements.

When we travel longer distances, we often prefer to travel in a larger vehicle than ours.  Enterprise is always helpful and accommodating.  For our most recent trip, we requested a mini van and the folks at Enterprise traveled to Cumberland, MD to secure a vehicle that met our needs.  Then, we received a call from them while traveling asking about our experience and making sure all was well with our rental.  Excellent customer service--always!  The manager, Andrew, is tremendously professional and helpful.

Only one bad experience ever, and that was when someone from another office deleted my reservation to make room for one of his regular customers, nearly ruining my HS Reunion weekend. As for the regular staff, in the 5 1/2 years I've been renting here, I've always received prompt, courteous service. I've always had a vehicle and, if it wasn't what I reserved, they've always been willing to switch it out for what I wanted if it came in. I do a lot of weekend special rentals, which probably accounts for my Platinum Plus membership. These guys have never failed me or left me stranded. Bill and Andrew are the best there is.

I reserved an intermediate car for a one way trip to SC, when I arrived I was given a compact car for the same price. I had to point out the error and then I was told that the compact car was the only one available for the long trip as the policy was that it had to have less than 20,000 miles for a one way trip. 

They could have told me this in one of the two phone calls that I had with them. 

Overall, they were polite and responsive. They did credit me for the difference.
