With all the new restaurants opening every year it's often too easy to forget about some of the classics. Equinox seems like it has been around forever. But upon rediscovering it recently, I found it to be every bit as good as is remembered. The service was prompt knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious. The gumbo, stroganoff, and potatoes were all perfect. My friends came for the ample vegan options. But there were great meat and fish options too. I recommend the flounder or the bacon wrapped venison. A day later and I'm already thinking about my next visit.

I dined here as a late Christmas celebration with my friend. We are both newly vegan and were blown away by the offerings of this brunch. It was so nice not to have to order from a limited menu or worry about if things are truly vegan or not. I highly recommend the cauliflower tempura, mushroom quesadilla and the tofu scramble station. YUM!

My wife and I had the five course plant based tasting menu. It was nothing short of fabulous. The mushroom stroganoff was out of this world. Equinox remains one of the top places a vegan can go for a fancy dinner in DC

I went here for a pre-valentines day dinner with my boyfriend and it was just the right size (small enough to be intimate and not have to yell) but large enough to still feel like, as a couple, we were "going out". The menu is not one for the PBJ lovers. Wear your fancy pants and get ready for an interesting and delicious meal! Good for vegans and non-vegans. I even got a little vegan dessert (still feel guilty about eating the whole thing - whoops; worth it!).

disappointed. Came for the vegan brunch. The choices were limited. The food was decent, but certainly not worth the high price. Additionally, I wanted a buffet that showcases vegetables. This brunch was very carb heavy.
