Story

Through passion, pride, and dedication, The Bombay Club has gained a unique position in the Washington social and dining environment. Our meticulously prepared regional cuisine, award winning wine list, beautiful old Club setting, seamless service, and welcoming smile have all created an atmosphere of relaxed elegance.

The Bombay Club has served the “who’s who” including Former President Clinton, Former President George H. W. Bush, President Nelson Mandela, Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, Former Vice President Richard Cheney, Alan Greenspan, Indian ambassadors, author and Dr. Deepak Chopra (pioneer of alternative medicine), among other world renowned leaders.

The Bombay Club has also been visited by movie stars including Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Goldie Hawn, and Kurt Russell, among many other celebrities.

Our overall experience was perfection! To celebrate my 40th birthday dinner at Marcel's was one of the best meals we have ever had! From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, nothing could have been better! All the staff were consummate professsionals, the cocktails were extremely delicious and the food was extraordinary!

what a pathetic way to make the Indians name bad. I am an indian, and we were served as if we were labors. In a seat of 2, we were asked to seat 3.The food was not proper. They maintain the dignity only with the Americans and when an Indian guy shows up, they show their true color. If the Bombay Club guys are reading this then listen, you are in Washington and not everyone comes to your restaurant with empty pockets. And on top of that i signed for 155$ of bill including tips and you charged me 160$, how low can you get. I have raised an inquiry not for 5$ but for you to learn. Be professional or quit this thing.

Wonderful atmosphere. Loved the servers, piano player. Food was excellent, especially the thali dishes.

Always perfect. Always. The care and attention to every detail at Angelini Osteria is second to none. Best in L.A.

Along with sister restaurant Rasika easily the best Indian in DC. Both are excellent choices with Bombay Club the more upscale option. Wonderful food with a live piano player most nights. Try to keep the delicious curry off the starched white linens :)
