Good "local" hardware store. Carries some items you can't get at the "Big Box" stores. Small in size so selection is limited but they carry many items you'll need to fix your home issues.

No one would help me entire time in store. Had huge moving boxes that didn't fit in cart-no help. Got to register and cashier wouldnt even come around to help and was rude about not having my skus facing correct way. Then asked for help to parking lot and he just shrugged his shoulders. Got out to car finally and couldnt get large box in-all i needed was 1 more person to help guide. Noone ever bothered but thank goodness a nice lady pulled up and helped me. Took a whole 5 seconds of her day thats erbs hardware couldnt be bothered with. Never again worst customer service experience ever.

Rented a U-Haul Truck for local use in December last year from Erbs. Being 57 yrs. old I've rented a lot of U-Haul trucks and many rental cars and the policy has always been leave with a full tank of gas and return the vehicle with a full tank. Evidently, U-Haul has changed that policy. Now, the policy is "return it with gauge where it was when you left with it." Not knowing this, having not read the fine print of the rental contract (who does?), after I was done, I filled it up, not noticing as I did so that I put $78.64 worth of gas in it. Having only driven around 100 miles, I knew something was wrong. When I returned the truck an Erb's employ told me that he would pass it on to the district manager of U-Haul and I would be hearing from him and if didn't to call him back. 3 months later, I have not. So, today I called Erb's and spoke with a different employee. He said there is no notation as to the issue on file, and that he would pass it on to the district manager, but (and here's the stinger) U-Haul policy is to NOT refund people who over fill the gas tank. So, don't expect anything. I hate to complain. I love American business and love it when businesses prosper, but it is a dumb idea to have people return a rental vehicle with anything less than a full tank. And, if you're going to change the policy, be sure to make this evident to customers. Highlight it. Point it out. Make sure they understand. AND, if someone makes an honest mistake, as in my case, do the right thing. Make it right. After all, we're living in the information age. Treat customers fairly, word gets around.
