I have only been here once and it was a good experience. I ordered the Erin's Club with chips and a soda. My order came out quickly. The sandwich was outstanding. If I am ever back in Pittsburgh, I will definitely be going back here for lunch.Food: 5/5
Salads are huge and delicious. Erin and her staff are all really friendly and quick. If you want a salad downtown for lunch there really is no place better to stop by. Honestly haven't even tried the sandwiches yet since I love the salads so much, but people I've taken there have enjoyed them.Food: 5/5
This is a perfect lunch spot! They are quick and have a wide variety of lunch items on the menu and have the best chicken Caesar salad ever and reasonable prices!
Erin's Deli offers a refreshing friendly escape from your busy workday. Fast and fresh, there are plenty of flexible options on the menu. It's hard to go wrong! This restaurant has quickly become the top seated lunch spot among my heavy rotation. I work downtown, and try to pack my lunch when possible. On the days that I can't brown bag it, I find it fun to sample the local lunch scene Downtown. No point in wasting my time at a fast-food chain when I get get a quality lunch at a reasonable price elsewhere. I've found quite a few favorites, but Erin's takes the cake. I have two passionate recommendations to make, but I've tried other corners of the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. My absolute favorite dish amoung Erin's roster is the Mediterranean Wrap; an exhilarating vegetarian option that is bursting at the seams with an assortment of fresh lettuce, kalamata olives, chopped artichokes, spread fetta and just a hint of balsamic vinaigrette. I've definitely requested to add grilled chicken in the past, and it fits the medley perfectly. However, this wrap is so packed with flavor that it is plenty filling with just the plants and feta. Quite literally the best wrap I've ever had. Sometimes I will wake up thinking about it I literally just woke up and I'm typing this review in bed hahaha. The second item that I would be remiss to leave unmentioned is the Stuffed Pepper Soup. A big bowl of ground beef, soft rice and green peppers in a dark warm broth. This bowl of comfort has practically saved my life on some of the more frigid afternoons Pittsburgh has been forced us to endure this year. Erin's is not a discount restaurant, but it is comparable in price to other Downtown lunch spots and the menu options are not remotely stingy on quantity or quality. The atmosphere during lunch is definitely busy. This is mainly because the restaurant has prime real estate on the ground floor of the K&L Gates building downtown, and also because the food is so dang good. Despite the bustle, at no point during my experience do I feel unwelcome. The staff is friendly and efficient, they always greet me with a genuine smile and they keep the lunch rush moving with relative ease. Although during the summer it was fun to take my lunch outside to eat in the sunny court yard, the December chill has widely discouraged this. Lately I've been staying to eat in house. The atmosphere is super cozy and provides a more than nice alternative to scarfing down lunch at my desk! I love people watching and noticing familiar faces that have also become enthralled by the alluring draw of Erin's menu. Hope this review helps you decide what to eat for lunch today! :
Food was nice but not special. Expect some waiting time around noon. Seating is very uncomfortable unfortunately. Great place to grab a sandwich on the go
It was quick for lunch and the food was good
Today I stopped in and got Smoked Salmon on an Asagio Cheese Bagel with all the works for $5.55 ! Where else can you get something so awesomely good for so inexpensive? Here! Seriously good food made from scratch. Give this small business a little love. You won't regret it.
Home of the best baked goods to fuel your morning in the entire city!!! Home made Muffins with blueberries throughout, under $3? Unheard of! Scones with just the right amount of sweetness. And cinnamon rolls, where you actually taste cinnamon, under $4. Amounts are limited since COVID-19, so call a day ahead, if you intend to buy multiples. Sandwiches and salads are made to order, super fresh, so service can be slow. Avoid this by calling ahead, as well. You won't be disappointed.
Came for lunch, first time there. Food was GREAT and everyone was super nice. Very clean also. I'll be back for sure.
The food is great, but the staff always seems to have an attitude or something. Plus, today the cashier was talking on the phone with someone while cashing orders out. No idea why, maybe there was a valid reason, but at least ask someone else to take the register. I invited a friend with me to Erin's deli today. I was telling him how great it was. I was embarrassed with how we were treated though.
