Nestled in a vintage Tahoe cabin, surrounded by towering pine trees is Evan's American Gourmet Cafe. Acclaimed as Lake Tahoe's finest restaurant, Evan's features a blend of cuisine styles from around the world. We have a very small (500 sq. ft.) Dining Room and over the last four decades in Haute Cuisine we have learned that small children (under the age of 5) are just not well suited for our environment. For the benefit and enjoyment of all our patrons (and the children, who don't really appreciate Haute Cuisine), we recommend small children be left in the charge of babysitters. Or if you have little ones you might try our other restaurant, The Cantina, just down the street which is a family restaurant (well stocked with high chairs, booster seats and a "Kid's Menu") and warmly welcomes children of all ages.
