My fianceé took me here for my birthday. I wept with joy. I love this place. If you love cold war aircraft. If you love aviation, if you love aerodynamics, and the aircraft that show them, if you love seeing engineering as an extension of history, politics, and economics, this place is amazing. Do yourself a favor, and go. Now. Give yourself all day. Watch band of Brothers before you go so the c-47 outside feels particularly important.

Great place to learn a lot about the history of aviation. Lots of WWII planes with stories to go along with. They have the Spruce Goose too! So awesome to be so close! They have a space rocket launch simulation on your journey downstairs to see the boosters of a full size rocket. Interactive and fun to learn if you're into that!

Expensive admission. The Spruce Goose was definitely underwhelming. You couldn't even walk in it without paying an additional fee. Bummer. Lots of information but almost too much. Wouldn't recommend for children. This is definitely an all day museum. Friendly volunteers.

Visited the Aviation Museum. The building was very nice; just one wide-open space with many aircraft arranged chronologically around the gigantic Spruce Goose. I visited near to closing and the atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. The plaques were informative without becoming dull, and you are generally able to inspect the aircraft very closely. Would enjoy more information on some of the engine displays.

Airplane lover? Visit here is a must! So many planes on a small area, so many stories, pictures, details, not just about airplanes, but space technologies as well. Staff was very pleasant to answer all my stupid questions :) You can spend days there and with the Aqua World next to the museum, this place should be one of the place you have to visit if you will be travelling around. Pro-Tip: you can park your RV on the parking lot overnight for free.
