“Our goal is gorgeous hair and a healthy planet. We offer extensive experience and exceptional service -- in an environment designed to be ecofriendly, beautiful, relaxing and positive.

We strive to use non-toxic, sustainable, organic products and our salon features natural, up-cycled furnishings. We are passionate about conserving and recycling. In all of our practices, in fact, we are committed to having the least possible impact on health of the ecosystem.

ABOUT WILLOW:
Willow (Barbara) Lynch, is the owner of Evolve, which she founded in 2010. She has been a professional stylist since 1991 and today, she is more passionate than ever about the art of hair. “I consider myself an artist,” she says. “Hair is my medium, cutting it my sculpting, and coloring it is my painting! I love creating and watching beautiful hair come into being.”

Her salon is about more than “just” business to Willow. She constantly strives to elevate her craft. “I think it is important to take our talents and passions seriously and to always seek improve, learn and keep things fresh – regardless of what we do for a living,” she says. As any of her clients can attest, Willow indeed has a talent for discovering how to make the perfect style even better, making clients feel at home and for creating new looks that are perfectly suited to the “whole person.”

“When I help someone feel great about how they look on the outside, I believe that they are much more confident about their place in the world that allows them to truly shine,” she says. “It isn’t just vanity.”

While many of her longtime clients call her “Barbara,” over the last five years, Willow began to embrace the nickname used by her friends for many years. “It is no surprise that I like to mix things up,” she says, “and I answer to Willow, Barbara and several versions and combinations of each.”

When she isn’t working her magic to create beautiful cuts and color, Willow pursues some of her other passions and talents, which include helping animals, travel, gardening, nature and outdoors, photography, art and theatre. Always at the top of her list of her priorities: Making a positive difference in the world and having fun doing it.

ABOUT JAXX :
Jaxx Roberts joined Evolve in September 2013. A professional stylist since 2008, Jaxx honed her skills in upscale salons in the Washington, DC area and recently spent two and a half years as hair stylist at Ulta.

Jaxx knew she wanted to be in the salon industry for as long as she can remember and feels lucky that her career path is something she is truly passionate about. ” I can’t imagine doing anything else,” she says.

She is highly skilled in all aspects of hair design, including current trends, but Jaxx advises clients to consider what nature gave them when choosing a new look. “It is usually a bad idea beat your hair into submission,” she says. She consults with clients to learn about their maintenance desires, and considers skin tone, hair type and condition to find the perfect style for each individual.

Because Jaxx knows that clients have often demanding schedules, she goes the extra mile to accommodate last minute appointments and will even work Sundays when needed—a rare and beautiful thing.

Jaxx enjoys gardening, taking care of her animals (a dog, three cats, a fish and five chickens!!!) and working with animal welfare organizations.

And in case you were wondering: Yes, Jaxx is a nickname, which she says is “way easier to remember than my eleven letter name of French origin.”
