This isn't a good place to camp. Needs a lot of work & the daily price is not good. The jerk that runs it from Navy base has no idea what he's doing and insulting the retired military!!! Plus you can only stay 180 days NO MATTER WHAT..EVEN IF YOU MIGHT DIE!!!! The people who camp are like family. Should be kept at old rate & not so short time. Plus it's not kept up and internets been down since??? But they want their $$$$.

Great CAMPGROUND most of the time. Needs to be taken better care of the grass etc. People are very very helpful. New rules all the time. Silly rules by Navy rep.

The apartments are getting older need updated. The apartment was not cleaned.

Life is easier if you have a reservation - They cannot accommodate "drop ins" easily but will do everything they can to help you. The Park Manager "Doc" is retired military so he knows our retired life style. My family and I lived there for over a year while we were looking for house and getting used to a new job. We never a had a problem with the management,if they asked us to do something we did as soon as we could. They were very unobtrusive and we really enjoyed our stay!
