Room was clean. Bathroom had an exhaust fan that sounded like it was seconds from an explosive escape. The room A/C did not work well; had to set it at 60F and the fan on constant to get it to cool the room. The hotel shut the heat off for the hot tub at approximately 8 PM (the hot tub is supposed to be open until 11 PM). My daughter went to the lobby to have them fix it, but where she stood for 20 minutes (wet from the disappointing hot tub no less -- and where the A/C worked GREAT) only to be told there was ONE guy on shift and he couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it. We probably won't stay there again.

This hotel is close to the highway, so the traffic noise including that of trains make it difficult to sleep well. The hotel is a little old and dirty as well. During my stay, smoke detector started loudly beeping at 3 am, waking me up, and needed a replacement battery. The clerk sent up the security guard, who removed the alarm. The front desk receptionist and manager apologized for the alarm but did nothing else to make amends. I understand that these situations can happen but I feel that being woken abruptly from slumber in the early morning deserves more than a verbal apology. I would not stay here as costumer services does not seem to be their first priority.

Friendly staff, nice rooms, good complementary breakfast. The three stars is because of the high noise levels in the rooms from the nearby I-45 road

Overall is wasn't the best hotel I've been to, but it wasn't the worst. Our was pretty good. It was clean and about average room size. The "spa" (hot tub) was broken when I tried to use it, but it seemed to be working when I passed it the next morning? Service was okay considered there was only one guy doing everything at night. I had to wait 20 minutes to tell someone that the spa was broken, and come to find out there was nothing to that could be done.

My family held a birthday party for my twelve year old brother here for the indoor pool. The staff were very accomadating and welcoming.
