Good location. Nice, clean rooms, if a bit on the small size. Hot breakfast was nice, included ham and eggs, greek yogurt, waffles and fresh fruit. Indoor pool is perfect for relaxing or splashing around with the kids, not so much for swimming laps. And the fitness center was convenient for a quick workout.

Fine place for the price. We have 4 rooms for 8 people, all on the same floor near each other and the best thing was they had us set for checkin with keys after a hot round of golf. So we quickly got into showers to refresh ourselves. Free breakfast gets you what you pay for it. Rooms were your basic twin queens with good AC, okay showers/baths.

We booked for late arrival and the check in process was painless and prompt. The rooms were side by side as requested and very clean and quiet. The towels were nice, the pillows very soft, the mattress comfortable. The climate control is on the unit by the window and very responsive. The breakfast was your typical hotel fare, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, make your own waffles, some scrambled egg looking stuff, cereal, fresh cut fruit, coffee, juices. The pool was not available due to maintainance until mid August and this was clearly explained at time of booking. Overall a good experience. Next door to cute Italian restaurant and maybe 50 yards to Denny's which is open 24 hours. This hotel is very close to 81. There is a Food Lion a mile down the road. A good stopping point for travelers.

I booked a trip through Expedia to stay in this hotel. We had to adjust the dates for our trip to a later date and so I had changed the dates with Expedia but for some reason the dates didn't change with Fairfield Inn. When we didn't show up, no one called or anything to find out what might have happened or where we might be. But they had no problem charging my credit card for the stay that didn't occur after the fact. We were going to just re-book our trip again for the proper weekend but after speaking with the hotel, we decided against it when they wouldn't refund our money for the weekend that we DIDN'T EVEN STAY WITH THEM. Extremely poor customer service in my opinion. We will never stay in a Fairfield Inn or Marriot again! And I will be sure to spread the word about my experience to everyone that I can.

Very impressed with the room and the balcony really gives you a wonderful view of the mountains. Clean room, friendly staff, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Probably the best nights sleep I ever had on vacation.
