Ugh, what an awful experience. I scheduled what I thought was an annual physical, only to discover that they'd coded it as a follow-up instead.
I'm fortunate to be in good health, so I've never needed (or scheduled) a 'follow up' for anything. I only go to the doctor's office once a year, and always for a yearly check up. That's it. I'm a young man, very active, with no prior or present health problems.
As a result of their coding error, I received a bill. I was baffled, so I called them to no avail.
All attempts to resolve the issue (on more than one occasion) have been met with a 'We can't change it, and our notes say 'follow up'".
Exasperated by the whole ordeal, I finally told Kelly(?) they've just lost a patient (over a trivial amount of money), because I wasn't willing to go along with the narrative that they'd fabricated (follow-up vs check up), that I found it hard to trust them given the situation (if they screw this up, what about things having to do with my health?), and that I'd post a review on social media. She said 'That's fine. We don't want you as a patient, post whatever you want on social media!'

I've been seen by Dr. B on 3-4 occasions and will never go back again. He claimed to be knowledgeable about thyroid disorders (he is an internal medicine doc so that seemed appropriate), but didn't even order the correct thyroid tests (tsh, free t3 and free t4). When I called to ask for the correct labs I had to practically beg over the course of 3 phone calls to get him to call in my lab work. My most recent experience was this morning when I went in sick (have been for 3 days). No one took my temperature, the doctor did not look in my nose or ears, and failed to perform any sort of physical exam!! He refilled some prescriptions and called in antibiotics "just in case". You should know whether I need antibiotics if you do an actual exam! I came into his office wheezing and left his office wheezing- no mention of breathing treatments or discussion about what to do if the wheezing gets worse or persists (i.e. Go to the hospital if you are using your emergency inhaler more than directed). In his lobby he had advertisements for his other business where he apparently does photography. Perhaps he should stick with that. I feel like I wasted my money on a doctor who on multiple occasions did not do a physical exam or investigate what was wrong. Dr. B is a glorified prescription pad holder in my opinion. Find another doctor!!

Dr. B is the best. He listen first and talks after The problem was understood. Very capable and smart Doctor.

Billing department intentionally bills for codes that are not covered by insurance.  Had a $180 charge for asking advice on a medicine.  No longer a patient with these practices.
