I always feel at home at Family Tire. I have tried other places and always return here. They are family oriented and suggestions for extra care for my only vehicle are always welcome. My daughter loves the small toys available as I use the web or listen to TV. They are very fast and right for the price.

Instead of telling me hey, this needs to be fixed 9n your car before we can pass inspection, they went ahead and failed it, but only after they sold me an air filter. Yes I did make them take the new air filter out and put my old one back in. It's all good though. I will get the issue fixed in the morning, go back let them see that it is fixed, pass inspection and go else where for my 120.00 oil change. Also while I was there my friends car was there as well, they charged her 80.00 for an oil change and another 120.00 for "looking" at the vehicle only to tell her she needed a 13.00 air filter cover because hers had a hole in it. After seeing just how shady they are who is to say they didn't cut the hole in it? Never again! Beware of this business especially if you are a woman.

Great place. Great environment good staff. No worries about getting talked into something you don’t need. Only establishment that I know that will take you out into their shop and show you your vehicles issues. In addition, the proof is in the paperwork, all recommendations are made based off the manufacturer or visible signs on the vehicle. Been going there for years don’t plan to change.

I'm from Richmond, VA visiting friends in Sneads Ferry, NC and got a flat tire when I was there. I've called a few other places before and this was the only place that was not rude to me over the phone. When I went in for my car service, the staffs were very nice and friendly. They saved me on a significant amount of money. Instead of paying nearly $130, they did an inspection and resolved the issues so I only ended up paying $26 - Absolutely incredible! So even though I'm not from Jacksonville, NC but I would say if you have any car troubles and happen to be nearby the area - definitely give this place a try. Highly recommend!
