Wonderful park. Only negative is the fee. If you are an Idaho resident, be sure to get the state park pass when you register your vehicle. That will get you into the park for free as long as your registration lasts. If you plan on camping, you will have a fee though. Also, reserve a spot many months in advance as it is often full. The park has an amazing disk golf area with 4 different 18 hole courses with varying difficulty. There are also many, many miles of single lane and dual lane trails. Many miles of lake shore trail as well as over small wooded hills. There is also a trail that takes you out of the park and up a mountain. That is a very intense hike. Finally, there are many species of wildlife living inside the park. Hike to find them or happen upon them while driving. Enjoy!

I visit a lot of state parks. Farragut State Park is the first one I visited in Idaho. It was fantastic. Spent the night in my car in a public ranger station lot. Got there too way late to get a campsite grow through and most of them looked occupied. In the morning I went down to this overlook to boil some water and make coffee and have breakfast. Other local camper started walking and jogging by around 7 a.m. . Use caution if you're up at this time there is lots of Wildlife hanging around the roads. An excellent Park I will reserve a campsite next time. Great spot to take the kids to the lake lots of open areas. And the Beaver swimming area is completely awesome what a great spot!
