This place is great from start to finish. Very good food, service, cleanliness, drinks and price. Would recommend.

The restaurant feels and looks like many other strip mall Mexican restaurants. Upon entry, the staff were friendly, and we were seated quickly. The chips and salsa were a pleasant surprise, well made with a hint of spice, often lacking at other establishments. The menu had a familiar variety of offerings, and I opted for the "enchiladas mexicanas" to sample 3 different enchilada varieties. Although the food artived within minutes (microwave line prep)Unfortunately, the flavors were bland and uninspired, without a hint of spice, heat, or actual Mexican flavor. Shredded beef, chicken, and cheese, could all have been something made at home. The server was attentive, the space was clean, and food was piping hot and prompt, but I visited for flavor, and it was missing.

I'd rate this a 2.5 (round up for service). First, really good chips and salsa. Everyone has their own taste on what is good/bad, but they weren't stale or burnt - just a decent thickness and crunch. The salsa was more unique than the typical mexican restaurant chips and salsa, so that was appreciated. Also, one of the better margaritas we've had. Strong, but not overwhelming. The service was noticeable attentive. Asked multiple times if we needed a refill on chips, water, etc. Was also very accommodating with our accident prone baby. That being said, one doesn't go out to eat for chips and margaritas. The food left much to be desired. I got a quesadilla with chicken. The chicken had no flavor with hints of a stale box. Good thing there was cheese smothering it, otherwise I'm not sure I'd be able to eat it. There was no seasoning, no marinade, just plain chicken. My wife got three steak tacos, there was a bit more seasoning to that, but it was quite chewy and also had the overwhelming boxy stale flavor. It's unfortunate because we had great service and a great start. Spice up the food a bit (pun intended), and I think it'd be more of a hit. As far as Mexican restaurants go, there are better places for a better price.

Hope this local gem stays around. It replaces the former Las Margaritas. We went for the first time on Friday evening and the food was spectacular. We shared the free salsa and chips, and the salsa was super fresh and tasty. The enchiladas rancheras were recommended by our server and were awesome. I would eat them daily if I could. We split a flan for dessert which was also very good. Only thing I didn't think was spectacular was the lime margarita. Good, but not anything special.
