This was my first time to a Firehouse Subs in Colorado Springs and I don't remember the quality being this poor out of state. My brisket tastes like you would imagine cat food tasting. This isn't what I would expect from this place. I could go to subway and paid less if I wanted a lack luster sandwich. Not that expect a 5 star meal but I've never been this disappointed with a Firehouse before. I'll try other locations but I doubt I'll be back to this one. Update: Thank you for your response, Kayleigh from guest services. I did go back after your reply and tried the brisket sandwich again. I wish I could report there was an improvement with the brisket. Sadly, there wasn't. I'm not sure what the issue is. I've since had other sandwiches here and the meat (turkey, meatball, etc) tastes fine. Maybe it's a distributor or the meat is being left in it's own juices for too long but it definitely doesn't taste like Firehouse brisket to me. It almost has the consistency of being canned. Luckily, the service was really great and the sandwich was well constructed, so it didn't seem like a complete loss like last time. Maybe I'll just stay away form that sandwich despite it being my favorite when it's not plagued by awful brisket.

I visited firehouse subs to buy my son a kids ham sandwich. The young gentleman that was helping me suddenly said he would be back and turned to walk away. Another associate stood in front of him and asked where he was going and he buckled at his knees and fell to the ground. He hit his head very hard. I won’t forget that noise. His eyes started rolling around and his arms were twitching. The other associate didn’t even try to touch him. No one did. I said i thought he was having a seizure and the other male associate said he did that before and he just fainted. He then went and got on the phone with a supervisor and the boy called his mom. The other associates working kept rolling their eyes and apologizing as if the poor guy did it on purpose. I’ve never seen someone so mistreated by their fellow associates. They also said he fainted earlier in the evening. I am sickened by the behavior and attitude toward the boy who fainted. I’m truly appalled and will never eat at another firehouse subs now that I know how associates are treated. That poor boy. I hope he quit.

So my fiancée and I stopped by this location to purchase one of the pickle buckets for $2. When we walked in, right before 11am, we saw 3 or 4 employees standing behind the counter. No one even said hello to us. They all looked as if they didn't even want to be there. They didn't ask what we wanted. We told them that we would like to purchase a bucket. One of the employees huffed and mumbled something incoherent under their breath as they walked in the back. They came back out and put the bucket on the counter and walked away without saying anything. We will not be frequenting this location as long as we are treated disrespectfully.

I love this place! Everything I've ever tried here has been great! Reasonable price, always lower than expected. The staff is friendly and greets you right as you walk in every time.

I absolutely love Firehouse Subs. They have the most tasty and delicious sandwiches of any sub shop in town. They have a great selection of hot sauces to use on your sandwich, be careful though some of them will Scorch your mouth! If you're brave, I suggest trying the Mad Dog 351 which is labeled with a number 10 sticker in their hot sauce bar. If you're one of those people that think they can handle any amount of heat go ahead and lather it on that sandwich, but if you just want to taste it then go ahead and get one of their little plastic cups and put just a little sauce in it and dip your finger in it to get the full experience without having PTSD. Again, Firehouse Subs is great. The staff is always friendly, the food is always good, and the atmosphere is great as well. Thank you Fire House Subs for being in existence and showing me what a true sub taste like.
