Was almost a5 : there was a super nice lady that greeted me when I came in and one of the employees begging the counter did too. The lady that took my order was SO helpful and friendly. Was an absolutely great atmosphere. I don’t go there often but was in the area and got a 4in sub. The reason I give 4 is because when I got to my car and opened my bag, the box my sandwich was in was put in the bag in its side. The sandwich and box were a mess. Other than that great! I think this is the correct location. By martins on pleasant valley
Echoing what most other reviewers have said, the Firehouse Subs in Winchester is full of friendly, hardworking staff who serve you delicious food at a fair price and quickly. My orders have always been correct, wonderful, and fast. You are ALWAYS greeted with a "Welcome to Firehouse!" by at least one, sometimes more, employees, as well as being told to have a good day on your way out. Firehouse truly is a cut above the rest of the local fast casual chains.
It was a little messy, but incredibly friendly staff. The food was fresh and exactly what you'd expect from Firehouse.Food: 4/5
Hannah has amazing customer service! As a frequent customer myself and a door dasher that has picked up many orders from this location, she does a really amazing job. During a recent encounter, another employee shrugged me off as I went to pick up an order but Hannah jumped in to provide excellent service as she does every time.
I placed an order for a plain chicken sub and it wasn't relayed to the team properly. Manager on duty quickly and politely fixed the mistake as well as brought out my remade sandwich to my table. Mistakes happen, this was made right fast and easy 10/10 would recommendFood: 5/5
This store is busy all time but the work very fast. They have a great service and good food. I ordered online to pick up and I needed wait for my order but it not to much time. I saw that they are too busy.
There is NO better sub shop in the area and I don't know if one exists anywhere else for that matter. That isn't a plug it's a fact. I get the Steamer hold the cheese and add brisket with a side of chili. My wife gets the roast beef and potato soup. Out of this would qualify. The meat is phenomenal,the place is clean,the staff are friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this place. To top it off they raise money for fire fighters and that is a helluva good cause to get behind. If you haven't tried this place and you truly want a hoagie or grinder that you WILL brag about afterwards you wanna eat here. Trust me.
I enjoy Firehouse Subs however I have found this location to be a little inconsistent with regards to the quality of the assembled sandwich. For instance, the meat is sometimes clumped at one end or another. I've found getting double meat as a reliable work around here so that I rarely get the dreaded meatless bite.
I love how this restaurant supports first responders! For some reason the app which I usually use appeared to lose my order so I called ahead. Then the electronic order went through. The staff realized that I only wanted one order and corrected the error before I arrived! Super!Food: 5/5
No pun intended BUT take some of these bad reviews with a GIANT grain of salt...lol SMH, and keep in mind this place opened two very short weeks ago. I'm sure everyone can remember what it's like learning a new job...that being said. This place a nice addition in the extremely small options in different restaurant's in this area. Their large sub is huge compared to a so called foot long at that other sub *cough way shop..and the meat is definitely a higher quality. I would not sleep on this place. *BTW pics: I got a hook and ladder, cold with toasted buns, minus tomatoes add provolone...and that's not extra meat it comes like that STACKS. ;
