I went to this location to buy 2 front tires and get a safety inspection.  They failed my safety inspection for inner front tie rod and two rear tires. They quoted additional $600 for rear tires and fixing the Tie Rod. I took the car to another shop to have the work done for lower cost. The other shop said the rear tires were worn but within safety specifications and there were no issues with any parts of the suspension or steering components(tie rod).

 I also had Firestone inspection paperwork saying my suspension and motor mounts were vary worn, but there was no mention of this over the phone. This is very unlikely because I had all of my suspension replaced last year with brand new factory parts which the other shop confirmed was fine.

Long story short, it seems this firestone is misleading customers in order to get have them to pay for unnecessary repairs.

if I could give it any less I would mechanic literally told me to f*** off not only that the tire took an hour and was under the psi ... dude come on maybe you should try at your job ... at least a little bit

I was not happy with the Firestone brand replacement tire - the numbers are the same but the size is definitely different.  Going back tonight to see if they want to help rectify the situation!

I just bought a used vehicle from a private party with new firestone tires and one needs air added weekly.  I took to my mechanic, he said it'll be under warranty so I called my closest firestone.   The guy answer the phone is terrible.  1st he needed to know what exactly was wrong before I could even set up an appt. to replace it.   I had to call my mechanic to get all the specifics.  My mechanic said even when it's balanced it has high vibration  and that there was a bubble in the tire.  Jason dismissed this saying that it can only be caused by hitting something.  I said regardless I need a new tire which he couldn't find what they have available in my make and model!  Even though he works there!!!  I just told him to hold while I looked up on firestone website and quoted him a tire from their own website.  Then he knew about it.  He quoted me $175 and I just asked, "why would my mechanic think it's a manufacturer defect if it wasn't" and he said he would have to talk to my mechanic to know.  Terrible attitude from this guy and he has all the information that I got from the mechanic.  He doesn't want to warrant his products.  I get that.  It cost money so never admit that it could be your fault.  But have a disgusting attitude the whole frickin time is piss poor!   If he showed he cared but just warned me they probably wouldn't be able to warrant it I would of gone with him anyways cause I have to replace regardless but now no way!!!
