Absolutely the best fish store in town! My boyfriend and I went to check this place out and I must say I was highly impressed.  Everyone was asking if we needed help and they were very knowledgable about all the different fish we looked at and told us what fish could be in the same tank and which could not.  This place cares about their fish!  I love this place!

Their new store is pretty awesome.  The specialize in fresh and saltwater.  They have an enormous selection of cichlids.  If you can't find what you want they can probably order it for you.  The only negative I can think of is, it seems since they have moved into the new store the staff is not very customer oriented.  They were alot more personable in the old store.  They were constantly checking on you to see if you were ready to pick fish out.  Now at the new store it does not happen quite so much.  Don't get me wrong it's still a good store.

I had asked the owner of Fish Freaks to rent tank space for my fish. Everything went great until the owner asked me for a loan for 50k. The day I told him I could not help him do to his employee Lisa told me he would not pay me back and just charge me higher rent my tank spaces and not pay me. If I could upload the text messages I would. Do to this inconvenience I was asked not to return to the store while the owner is selling my fish. I had put in writing to the owner that I would be surrendering my fish to the the zoo as these fish are protected.

I use to have Fish Freaks come out and service tanks before I moved and the employees don’t double check their work and I ended up losing a goldy L014 because it got stuck in a lift tube that the service people left carelessly left on the bottom of the tank.

If your serious about keeping an aquarium, this is the place to go. Very knowledgeable staff and a selection you won't find anywhere else in Omaha. This place is awesome! A +

Not sure where all the high ratings are coming from. Things were pretty pricey and I was in the store for 20 minutes and not once did anyone offer to help me. Oh, and for a majority of that time, I was the only customer there. Something like, “Good evening. Welcome to Fish Freaks. How can I help you?” would have been nice. Doubt I will be returning. Gonna check out Nebraska Aquatic Supply.
