Paws To Angels is Nebraska's First and Only Total End of Life Care Center for pets and their families. We specialize in Pet Hospice, In Home Euthanasia, Pet Death Care, Private Cremation, Burial, Freeze Dry Preservation, Grief Support for all members of the family, Our center is full of options to help honor the life you shared with your pet family member with over 100 urns, caskets, cremation jewelry, blankets, rocks, markers and gift shop. We will always treat your pet like we treat our own with Love, Respect, and Dignity. Our mission is to provide a warm, supportive and compassionate end-of-life experience for you and your pet. We are on call 24/7 for the final emergency.
Our Philosophy
The anticipated death of a beloved pet is a difficult and traumatic time in the life of a pet parent. As pet owners, trained hospice providers and Certified Pet Loss Professionals, we understand that pet parents experience the same grief and sense of loss that occurs when a human member of the family dies.

Our mission is to provide a warm, supportive and compassionate end-of-life experience for families and their pets, providing a way for family and friends to celebrate the life and establish the significance of their best friend.

We pledge that we will help you find a way to say goodbye that will honor your family member and build wonderful memories that will eventually replace the darkness of grief. We will always treat your pet like we treat our own; with love, respect and dignity.
History
In 2009, as a pet parent facing the death of her pet was a defining moment for Cherie. It was the beginning of her vision of how to best meet the needs of pet parents when their beloved pets die. The experience of the death of her dog, Chadz, (pronounced shades) guided her in starting Paws To Angels Pet Loss Center & Services, Nebraska's first and only full service pet loss center (pet's-only funeral home.)
Established in 2010.

Paws To Angels opened its doors Jan. 23, 2012, Nebraska's First and Only full service pet loss center. Providing respectful and dignified pet death care and in home euthanasia services. seeing that our pets mortal remains are cared for as family and not waste. (Your pets must rest somewhere when they pass until final arrangements have been carried out. The pets in our care rest in caskets, swaddled in blankets, we DO NOT put them in trash bags, pile them in a freezer, or run on a truck route, we very much believe they are family and deserve to be treated as such.) In 2013 we helped open the state's very first pet ossuary in a human cemetery for cremated remains at Graceland Park Cemetery and we were given the honor of naming the Ossuary "Pets at Peace Gardens". In 2014 we extended our services to include in home pet hospice. Paws To Angels is the pioneer leader in the total end of life care for pets. Omaha's PREMIER pet loss resource and is setting a new standard in end of life and death care. Offering pet parent's a level of service and comfort not experienced anywhere else in Omaha and surrounding communities.
