It's for serious fitness fans; not much fluff or Bay Club types.  Lots of free classes w great instructors!  Trainer crew great.  Plenty of weights and machines.   Big value!

I am a former member of Fitness SF. I dropped my membership because I didn't like being stared at by creepy men.

Some men gawk at women * but most male members are polite 
No windows

The equipment is organized in the gym like a jigsaw so you don't have a TON of space, but you'll always find what you need and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I love that there are three full-length walls of dumbbell weights so you're never at a loss for those. Great price for the value.

Clean gym with friendly staff, and although it is rather small people are generally courteous and if you need space to perform plyometrics or bodyweight workouts people will make space for you. The room where classes are held is also open for use when there is no class.
