My kid has been going here for over 2 years! This is an Amazing place to send your kid! The instructures are really good and if you want to learn karate this is the place! The atnesphere is clean and serene.
One of the most consistently awesome sources of joy for me as a parent is watching my two children attend classes here. Their interest was sparked by the allure of becoming a "ninja", and has evolved as they realized the hard work involved. Every tip they earn on their belt is an immense source of pride for them, as well as their parents. Mojo Dojo has an awesome staff - Shihan Henry, Linda, Sempai Adam, and the student teachers are all incredibly engaged and responsive. My kids respect them, but aren't afraid to interact with them. Highly recommended!
I would highly recommend this. I have a 4 year old and he loves it. James sir and Adam sir are really great with kids. They make session so fun but at the same time teaching kids self discipline and Karate skills.
Given the non-relevant "burrito" review posted, I feel compelled to write one myself. I'm an adult in my fifties who's been a student here for just over two years - originally on the karate side brown belt, but now taking the morning aikido classes as well. I'm continually impressed at the quality of instruction, the support of my fellow students and the way this is more than a dojo - it feels to me like a family. For anyone from small children to adults in their seventies, this is more than a great way to get in shape and learn how to defend yourself - it's a way to reform the way you see the world, and yourself, in the most positive way imagineable. I give Mojo Dojo my highest recommendation, with special kudos to all the instructors, - especially Shihan James Henry, Sensei Rob and Sensei Jason.
If your looking for life long teachings look no further the best sensei I've ever had and the best school I've ever had the chance to attend, James's sensei's teaching has stuck with me my whole life.
