Simply the best sandwich I had in Charleston. It was a bit of a walk for me from where I was, but every step was worth it. The multi-grain bread was slightly toasted, I don't know what they put but the sandwiches were delectable. The decor is modern, they have soups smoothies and sandwiches. Very thought out menu that covers all. A heart warming food experience.

The Five Loaves Cafe was our first stop along our Charleston honeymoon and we were not disappointed. I ordered the turkey sandwich and chicken chili and my husband had the roast beef sandwich and tomato soup. Everything was INCREDIBLE! Hands down the best lunch I’ve had since I can remember!

Mixed feelings for this place, while the food was good, it's horribly overpriced! The experience with one of the servers was poor. I don't expect to get attitude and to be talked over when I'm explaining my concern. The server left much desired in the form of customer service and we will not be back. Super cramped and unorganized. If your going to charge 15 for a salad (4.50 to add 4 slices of avo)  you had better wow me with great service.

I ordered the roast beef sandwich and was surprised to find that it was a cold sandwich. I honestly had never had a cold roast beef sandwich before. The menu didn't say whether it was cold or warm, so I think that would be a wise addition to the menu. Otherwise my husband enjoyed his sandwich and the rest of the menu items sound really good.

Wonderful daily lunch and dinner specials. The sautée chefs are masters of their trades. As is the rest of the kitchen staff. The front of the house is very friendly, efficient, and intelligent. Take out orders are fast and delicious still beautifully plated/boxed. All soups, cheeses, and almost every other menu item is made fresh daily. Tons of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. The staff is highly sensitive to any allergies and takes precautions to ensure that no allergic food touches the order. Great prices. Awesome Sunday brunch.
