Went for dinner on December 21. Overall it was a wonderful evening. Mickey and his staff do a fabulous job. The service was excellent as was the food. Very good food and a nice atmosphere. Every employee from the host and hostess to bartender and wait staff were very cordial, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We ate at the bar as reservations for a proper table need to be made in advance. Everything was delicious. The cocktail menu is decidedly above average but perhaps not as creative as some high end cocktail bars in Charleston. Still, there are plenty of ways to quench your thirst. Definitely recommend this place. They have a 6-8 person communal table where you don't need a reservation and seats are first come first serve. Novel concept to invite strangers to dine together and share the experience. If you are dining alone or feel like meeting new people it's a neat way to do so while enjoying top notch food.

We had tried to book table reservations, but there were none until late. Now I understand why. The reception person told me that if we arrived 5ish we would likely be able to sit at the bar or high top tables. That worked like a charm. Every time I'm in Charleston I have to eat at FIG. There is a reason why FIG stands for Food Is Good because it is at this restaurant. The menu might seem small in terms of the number of dishes on it but the flavor of each dish will blow you away. Just make sure you make a reservation otherwise you might not get it. You can always eat at the "community" table which is fun if you want to meet other people.

Well worth the wait! Fantastic food, cocktails, wine list, and service. Nikki was a great ambassador behind the bar. Danielle was working hard. Just a wonderful experience. Thank you!
