Story

The Foglia YMCA is proud to be working with School District 95 and St. Francis de Sales School to provide quality child care for children in elementary school, grades kindergarten through fifth. The program operates Monday through Friday from 6:45–8:20 am and 2:55–6:00 pm for District 95 schools (including Spencer Loomis School located in Hawthorn Woods) and Monday through Friday 2:15–6:00 pm for St. Francis de Sales School.

The goals of the child care program are:

To protect and promote the children’s health and fitness.
To promote the children’s social and emotional development.
To provide a nurturing environment.
To provide the opportunity to succeed.
To develop an atmosphere of confidence.
To instill the YMCA character development values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
