Beautiful trails. We are inexperienced hikers and took our 3 year old with us and it was a hour or so long hike. I think someone who knew what they were doing could hike it in less time. We enjoyed it a lot though and it wasn't too hard. Had a few areas to rest and lots of beautiful photo ops. We will be coming back to do this trail again.

Nice trail. Hopefully they go back through and update the signs and markers soon as it's about do for it but still was able to follow them I guess but wasn't as easy as it should be. The 3 mile trail signs I was looking for I never even seen and ended up following the 4 mile instead. 4 mile trail gave me about 1 hour worth of fairly fast walking.

Great trail system along Lee Creek in the Ozark National Forest at Devil's Den State Park. Suitable for hiking and mountain biking (beginner to intermediate). Look for the annual mountain bike festival in April. A fun event for the whole family.

Have been to the park many times over a 35+ year time span. My parents used to take us here on summer vacations, and we've taken our kids there multiple times as well. In a world of quickly-created tourist towns/attractions with fake facades, its becoming more and more rare to find a REAL place, with real history that you know is authentic. Most any of the CCC parks will give you this, but, Devil's Den really is a special and unique place. When there, think back about how much hard work and manual effort was put into cutting, moving and building from the huge logs and stones. Heck, that's not an easy task THESE DAYS - even with the modern machinery we now have. If you can grasp an appreciation of the history here, you'll enjoy it even more. Another really nice one is Petit Jean State Park.

Our family had a wonderful reunion at Devil's Den in May 2017, and everyone loved the park! One young couple tent-camped, my hubby and I parked our trailer in a large site on Lee Creek, and the rest of the families stayed in cabins. Most were from out-of-state, and they were stunned at the high quality of all the facilities and the trails. Now the new shelters -- no utilities, but clustered near water and facilities -- will fill the gap between tent-sites and cabins. We'll definitely be back!
