Wanted to share my experience as a first time mom to be who has never been through prenatal care or had ever had a cervical check before. Horrible experience. Was pregnant with my first and agreed to a cervical check for my appointment, specifically asking him to tell me before he was about to start and to fully explain what he was going to do as he performed the check. He started to talk about random things trying to distract me I guess and without any consent from myself or warning, he shoved his finger up very fast and I gripped the table and it gave me a contraction. I was very surprised. I must have looked shocked but I grabbed both sides of the table and said “wow, that just gave me a contraction”. I was very upset. I have switched practices because of this.
This man ruined me. I gave birth to my first 9 lbs during Mike Tyson's first championship fight. I arrived at the hospital at 10pm and was told to start pushing at 11pm. I had no urge to push and closed my eyes between forced pushes. He yelled at me that he would just go home and come back at 3AM, if I wasn't going to stay awake. I thought he may have been watching the fight and that's why he was rushing me. He ripped my son from me using a vacuum extraction at 12:44am. This was all with no pain meds. I tested him by saying to my husband "oh, I'm sorry you missed the fight" and Dr. Morgan said "Tyson won". I had to ask for relief when he started sewing me. I believe he stitched me up badly on purpose because he was mad at me. I could barely walk over a week later and had repair surgery, which didn't really return me to anywhere near normal. When I went back for a checkup and told the nurse my son was delivered by vacuum, she said "oh, you must have had Dr. Morgan".
Has went above and beyond to make sure I received nothing but the best care. I don’t know what I would do without him. I highly recommend Tidewater Physicians for Women and Dr. Frank Morgan.
I had a terrible experience with him. I did not appreciate his professionalism. I’m thrilled I have a different doctor I am able to use.
