Freddy's offers the thin-type burgers that are crispy around the edges that my family and I love. We go out of our way to eat here versus those places that offer the really thick burgers. If you like thick burgers, go somewhere else. These kind of burgers are special and hard to find. The closest Freddy's to my house is 3 hours away, so when we see one, we always stop. The food is not greasy, staff is great, restaurant is clean and the fries/fry sauce combination is great. My grandmother also says the onion rings are the best she's ever had. From an 80-year old onion expert that grew up on an onion farm, that's saying something. Culver's may have flavored custard, versus the vanilla/chocolate varieties offered by Freddy's, but I'll drive past 3 Culver's to get to a Freddy's burger and fries. If you do opt for one of their sundae-type desserts, be prepared...it's huge. I can't wait for one to open closer to home. Thanks for being awesome!

What a disappointment. The place was clean and nice on the inside. It has that nostalgic feel from the 50's to it but unfortunately the food wasn't great. If you like thin dry hamburgers that are grizzly, then this place might be suitable for you. I prefer hamburgers that are juicy, hot and full of flavor. Since my visit, we haven't been back and I don't plan on going back. My daughter did say her hot-dog was good but I can't confirm since I did not try it. There are better places to spend your money on if you want a good burger. I am sure back in the 50's, this kind of burger was excellent but some things need to stay in the past.

Ok, the food was awesome. We checked the bags before we left, but still managed to be missing a burger when we got home... The ice cream was great and the Chicago dogs are well done (as a recovering Chicagoan, I know). Their twist of the Texas toast bun is nice.

Perfect hamburgers and hotdogs. The French fries are so good and the fry sauce and salt is even better!! Ice cream was great, but huge!! If you get one - even the small - share or be prepared to eat a bunch!! Clean store. Nice employees!

Chicken sandwich was juicy and not dry, service was great. Never been here before and the employee explained things to use and was very cheerful. Never had custard before so she gave us a sample. Fry's were just right.
